Should Thomasville First become a Global Methodist congregation?
In May, we informed you that the Administrative Council made a recommendation that this church vote on joining the Global Methodist Church. This recommendation was made after much research into different Methodist/Wesleyan denominations that this church might consider joining after disaffiliation from the UMC. The church-wide vote will take place on Sunday evening, August 27, 2023 at 5:00pm in the Fellowship Building. Only members of the church will have a vote. Nursery and programming for children will be available.

The best place to start learning about the GMC is their website. Make sure you look at their resources, including their Transitional Book of Doctrines and Discipline.
