About Us

Rev. Scott Stanfill, Sr. Pastor
Scott was appointed to Thomasville First Methodist in June 2025. Prior to that, he served for three years as the pastor at College Place Methodist Church, four years as the pastor at Colquitt Methodist Church, and five years as an associate pastor at Albany First Methodist Church. He earned his Bachelors in Soil Science in 2005 from the University of Georgia and a Masters of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary in 2016. His passions in ministry include leading and discipling people into a living, growing relationship with Jesus and engaging the community through evangelistic mission and outreach. In his spare time, he enjoys serving as a volunteer coach with his children’s recreational sports teams, hunting, fishing, and cheering on the Dawgs and Braves. Scott and his wife, Amber (also a UGA grad), married in 2006 and have two children, Grace and Luke.
