Grow in Christ. Practice the way of Jesus. Walk alongside others.

Based on John Mark Comer’s Practicing the Way, this “curriculum for Christlikeness” recovers ancient spiritual practices that help us apprentice to Jesus amid a distracted, fragmented, and hurried culture. Both formats follow the same weekly schedule and material; online participants receive a Zoom link each week.

Women’s Small Group: Breathe

Where: Upchurch, Room 1
Length: 5 weeks
Begins: September 2

One of the greatest challenges for women in our culture is taking time to step away from constant activity and simply breathe. This five-week study explores Sabbath as God’s gift of rest, tranquility, and renewal.
Disciplines of the Spirit
Leader: Rev. Dr. Ken Myers
When: Wednesdays at 10:00 am or 6:00 pm

Using Maxie Dunnam’s Disciplines of the Spirit, participants will explore how salvation is more than a one-time event. Brief daily readings, journaling exercises, and weekly conversations will deepen participants’ relationship with Christ as they practice the means of grace.
We hope you will find a group that fits your schedule and supports your next step in discipleship. Register today and join us as we grow in Christ together! You can also call the Church Office to register at (229)226-0840.
