The Thomasville Community Cantata Choir is back! In partnership with Arts for the Community at Thomas University, The TCCC returns Sunday, December 10 @ 4pm for a performance of Mozart’s Vesperae solennes de Confessore KV 339 and several Christmas Carol arrangements. We have some awesome soloists joining us, along with accompanist Dr. Jim Amend! Performance and rehearsals will take place at Thomasville First Church. Rehearsals will be held Sundays 2-3:30pm, beginning September 17.

About the Cantata Choir:

The Thomasville Community Cantata Choir is in its second season as an ecumenical, volunteer Choir of singers across the Thomasville, proclaiming God’s Glory through the performance of major liturgical Choral Cantatas. The TCCC’s Spring performance of Duboi’s The Seven Last Words of Christ aired on WFSU earlier this month. The Choir was founded at Thomasville First Church by Conductor/TFC Worship Director Tim Peck, with primary collaborators TFC organist Steven Turner and fellow Thomasville Area Worship Director Sandy Ladner (St. Augustine Catholic Church).
